Create a cool project for Washington's Science Fair
Washington is having a Science Fair! Create a cool Science Project for everyone to see at our Spring Open House, Wednesday May 23rd! Everyone who participates will receive an award. Please see the letter to parents and flyer below for details. There are also guidebooks for completing the projects for grades K- 1 and 2-5 in English and in Spanish.

See's Candy Sale -Update!The Washington PTA is continuing to sell See's Candy Chocolate Bars through the end of May to raise funds to help pay for our computer lab instructor at Washington. With recent school district budget cuts, PTA funds are needed more than ever! All our children benefit from the computer lab-so please do your part to keep this valuable resource!! Thanks to the hard work of our Washington families, the PTA has raised over $1,000 so far! Our goal is $2,000 and with all of our hard work, we will reach our goal! Please turn in all money and any unsold candy by Friday, June 1st. Last Updated (Thursday, 17 May 2012 12:11) 2011 Multicultural PotluckThe 2011 Multicultural Potluck featured food from around the world representing the Washington community -volunteers from the high school helped serve up heaps of delicious dishes. Students performed a Native American dance and the ASES Choir sang to a crowded auditorium. After dinner, students took "passports" on a tour of the world set up in classrooms across campus. The classrooms featured cultural deserts, student projects, art and cultural artifacts celebrating the diversity of Earth's peoples.
