In October, the Dad's club hosted a campus maintenance day. Participants built benches for the native plant garden, painted doors and trim, and handled other beautification tasks. High school students assisted by leading a campus litter clean-up and audit with Wasington students to learn what types of litter are most common on campus and come up with ideas for preventing the problem before it starts. The day concluded with a hearty lunch and strong sense of accomplishment!
